We are looking for volunteers to help manage and maintain the ice at 4 outdoor rinks in Barrhaven. 

Rink Coordinator:  Schedule volunteers, supplies, and collect reports on a weekly basis from December 15th to February 28th.  You are the liasion with the WBCA executive and are tasked with keeping the rink running smoothly.  Most of this work can be done by phone / e-mail.

Rink Supervisor:  Rink supervisors are present at the rink during our operating hours.  You will help clear the ice, complete a daily attendance report, and report any vandalism, injuries, or other incidents to the Rink Coordinator.   First Aid Certification is preferred and may be provided by the WBCA.

Rink Support:  Volunteers are needed to help with after hours flooding and ice maintenance.  Each rink needs to be flooded a minimum of 4 times per week, preferably late in the evening.  Flooding can take up to two hours.    Volunteers with snowblowers are also needed to help clear the ice following heavy snowfalls.
